A couple of good saves early on from Dani in goal with the oppo a constant threat with their front three, but the Bury back four dealt with most of which come through. Oppo had the ball in the net around 15 mins but was correctly ruled off side as oppo's 7 came back from an Offside positon.

Maddie was a threat up top and had a long range effort wide on 23 mins. But Bury found it hard to get in behind there back four who were vastly more experienced than our forwards and read the game very well.

We forced a couple of corners on 35 minutes but didn't take the chance when the ball came in the box and it was easy for the oppo to clear.

41 mins Hannah nearly got in behind from a great quick throw which lead to another corner for Bury which was cleared by the opposition who failed to take the chance for a quick counter but Millie ensuring they barely got over half way

A monumental amount of added time due to the ball disappearing down the bank on the far village side of the pitch throughout the half and Bury managed to see the half out to make it 0v0

Second half

5 minutes into the second half after a scrappy start and an unfortunate handball which our defender didn't know much about gave the oppo a penalty which they duly took advantage of from the spot.

Bury changed to a front three after the pen and nearly got in couple of times and started pressing the play with more comand. Maddie had a long range shot and we then forced a corner which didn't fall for us in the box although we still fashioned a long short from it. A great response from the pen, with 25 mins to go

15 mins to go and Bury had kept up the pressure up having a couple more chances to put the ball through whilst remaining resolute to any counter attack. The light was fading as fast as the opportunities now but with Maddie & Soph up front remaining a constant threat

Final 5 minutes plus added time to go and Bury rolled the dice to gamble with three at the back to push more players forward. It almost paid off with an effort from the edge of the box after a free kick which went just over.

Some great play between Connie and Maddie on the 90 mins got Storm a shot from distance which unfortunately went wide. They kept the pressure on from the goal kick and collected the ball. Maddie then putting it through for Becky to finish at the far post to grabbed a well deserved equaliser
