Half term with people away and illness meant we only had 9 players available.
Within the opening 10 minutes we had two players injured which left us was a long game ahead of us. Those two players deserve so much praise as they stayed on the match and gave what they could for the cause.
We found ourselves very unlucky to be one nil down half way through the first half as the ball cruely bobbled into our goal as Madison tried bravely to make the save.
At half time it was 1-0 and we were in confident mood and sticking to our agreed formation gave it our all in the second half.
Nothing we could to on 43 minutes to stop a super through ball from Hoddesdon that any professional team could be proud of for them to go 2-0 up.
We rallied, battled and fought for each other and were unlucky to not get a goal of our own as Alysia Lawrence forged a solo run between two players.
Another cruel deflection saw the ball land happily into the path of their striker for three nil.
The team never gave up and despite all the odds against us can be proud of their efforts and to exacute the formation which tried today which frustration the opposition for most of the game and we look very solid in defence.
Well done to Ella-Mae Ince this week who was our player of the match with an assured display on the left side of defense and then a go on the left wing with a couple of impressive runs in the later stages.
But we are all proud of this team today for the effort and our Bury never say die spirit!
