It seemed the world was against us from the beginning of this game as we had limited players as sickness struck and winter hit with poor weather.
Despite the odds being against us and climbing a slope (quiet literally) first half the girls put on a spirited display and kept their heads and tried hard.
No one despite the score line should be left disappointed as we kept trying to pass the ball around and press the opposition into mistakes and i thought three of the four goals were harsh for various reasons and the score line unjust.
A number of players played out of position in different roles for the first time and can take some good learnings from today.
Players of the match this week was Erin Stuart-O'Brien and Megan Baker-Jones. Both players impressed today and did everything that was asked of them and more. Well done girls.
