One of the fastest growing sports in the country, walking football is a variant of traditional football and aimed at giving elderly players of the game the opportunity to still be involved in the sport, along with offering men and women who have never tried football the chance to try 'the beautiful game,' at a slower pace.
Sessions will begin in January 2020 at Richard Hale's 3G facility, Hertford, from 18:30pm - 19:30pm.
Walking football has witnessed huge development with the formation of its own association along with the formation of new clubs and teams across the country.
The sport has been proven to help with physical and mental wellbeing, reducing stress and the risk of cardiovascular disease and strokes, along with boosting self-esteem and confidence.
