Three Bury Rangers U12’s teams Reds/Whites/Stripes competed on Saturday 9th June at Buntingford 5 aside tournament.
It was a particularly successful day for both Reds and Whites.
Both Reds and Whites made it to the final, with a stellar performance from the whites beating Harlow Hawks 1-0 in the semi-final, with a winning goal from Calum Lyons who struck the ball perfectly from the half way line into the top corner.
Bury Reds beat Royston 2-1 in the semi-final with goals from Albert Locke and Ethan Goodwin.
The final was unflattering to Whites who had run out of steam having battled so hard to beat Harlow in the semi-final, with Bury Reds winning the tournament final 4-0, with goals from Micah Calderaro-Antoine 2, Ethan Goodwin 1 and Charlie Rivers 1.
The highlight of the tournament was both Whites and Reds players and parents celebrating together when whites beat Harlow Hawks in the semi-final.
It was a very happy way to end a successful season for the Bury Rangers u12’s!
