The annual Bury Rangers FC Christmas kickabout was a resounding success, with over 70 parents and children pulling on their boots and braving the December weather for an enjoyable morning of football, from children of under 8 to 'bigger' children of 60 years old, playing together and having tremendous fun in a highly competitive park match,playing 5 a side bibbed in either fluorescent orange or green with everyone plying their part and getting fully involved.

At the final whistle the victors were Greens, winning 3-0, however a special mention needs to go to Under 11's Dan who kept the oranges goals with a number of fine saves.

After everybody had completed their individual 'American' penalty it was time to raise money for charity, with the donation bucket coming back with over £140 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
