Ware Youth Vs Bury Rangers blues
A great team display in the sunshine
A fantastic team effort on Saturday. The players really played as a team, sticking to their positions and looking to make a pass when a team mate was in a better position than them. Zach gave us the lead in the first quarter and was non stop running whether in defence, midfield and attack, hitting the post four times in total throughout the match. Ware threatened our goal a couple of times in the first quarter but Abi was out quickly to claim the ball. A good all round performance from Oliver saw him score our next two goals, the first a wonderful finish from distance. Oliver linked up well with his team mates throughout and was a constant attacking threat. Moving to defence later he made a number of good tackles. Dom was a constant outlet for his team, wanting the ball at all times and then looking to attack with it. He showed good skill in the middle of the pitch a number of times to evade his marker with a good turn and then help his team quickly transition into attack. As well as a great first quarter in goal, Abi had a good game on pitch, always looking to be involved, winning the ball back a number of times for her team and stopping Wares attacks. The third quarter saw Ware score two goals and put a lot of pressure on to us. Aiden continued his non stop running, always looking to win the ball back and attack the Ware goal, he had a number of runs and was brought down a couple of times but the referee allowed the game to flow and didn't give the couple of fouls he could have had. Aiden was unlucky not to get on the score sheet with a couple of efforts. Edward made a number of good blocks to help his team and was always looking to make tackles. Nixon capped a fantastic game scoring our fourth goal after good play between him and Zach and taking a well placed finish. Nixon showed good understanding throughout, keeping well to his positions and always looking up and looking to pass to a teammate in a better position than him and always looking to cover if one of his teammates pushed forward.
Overall a fantastic performance with the team moving the ball around well making the ball do the work on a hot Saturday morning
