Great performance in a thrilling game!

Bury started the first half really strongly with some great performances in the middle of the park, Luca starting in goal came off his line quickly a couple of times to quell some Puma attacks, Ellis sat with ease at the back, tackled strongly and showed some good positional sense, Captain Jess and Alfie battled well in midfield and tried hard to push through to get some attempts on goal, and Alexander showed some neat touches up front as did Freddie who replaced him later in the quarter. After a even quarter with both sides pushing for the opening Bury went in ahead through a fantastic goal from Ellis, who pushed it past a defender and slammed it into the bottom corner.

The second quarter was a slightly different affair, with the Pumas reshuffling their pack, Bury struggled to contain the attacking threat and unfortunately conceded a number of times. That's not to say Bury didn't have their chances, but they were forced to reshuffle after a slight injury to Luca. Bury did well again in midfield Alex and Alfie combining well, with some nice passes and few jinking runs, Jess pushed upfront but they were unable to find a way back.

With Luca patched up with magic spray,Bury came out all guns blazing, Luca dominated up front and scored a quickfire hattrick, showing great skill and speed to put the Pumas defence to the sword. Ellis did well in goal, commanding his area well, Jess sat confidently at the back, Alexander, Alfie and Freddie worked hard in midfield. All in all a great third quarter and it was even and all to play for in the fourth.

Bury once again started strongly with Luca tormenting the Pumas defence and Bury raced into the lead, both teams reshuffled slightly and the Pumas came back into the game setting up a nail biting finish. Alex made two great saves late on to ensure that Bury stayed in front as the whistle blew. All in all a superb performance from all the team, plenty of desire, some good skills, a little work to be done on positioning perhaps, but all the players can be proud off their efforts.
