A friendly local derby
A close and enthralling game, with great play from both teams.
Bury Rangers faced a strong Hertford Town A team and were on top before Hertford scored 2 quick goals against the run of play.
Bury started to press further after a strong run from Owen Pope who was tripped and Harry Thomas converted the penalty to make the score 2- 1.
Dylan Wykes and Teddy Glynn worked hard on both wings whilst Alex Prior and Aiden Meehan kept things solid at the Back.
A great Goal kick from keeper Dylan Wykes found Mason Jones outpacing the defence to convert and make the score line 2- 2.
Hertford managed to again get in front to make the score 3-2.
Bury pressed for the equaliser and a quick cross from Teddy Glynn helped on by Harry Thomas saw Dylan Wykes score but disallowed for an earlier out of play ball.
Bury threw everything at Hertford but just ran out of time.
Great effort by all the boys especially the goalkeepers, Owen,Aiden,Dylan and Alex pulling off great saves.
