Bury Rangers 1 Knebworth Pumas 4

In a scoreline that flattered the hosts, Bury played a great game of football that was a credit to them and the opposition.

The first quarter was a tight affair with Alex and Harrison defending resolutely, Liam looking to attack with some nice touches and Ethan doing well in midfield. The deadlock was broken just before the break with a goalmouth scramble that ended up going through the keepers legs, Alfie has done some great work between the sticks and was unlucky to concede.

We changed things up a little in the second quarter but were unable to gain a foothold in the game, Cameron and Ryan did some great work up front but we were unable to get the ball into the right areas. We came in another goal down, but it had been a really positive quarter with everyone getting involved and working really hard for each other.

In the third quarter we struggled to adapt to the slight incline, Ryan showed some great skill and was really unlucky with the ball flashing just wide after going one on one with the keeper. Harrison did an outstanding save somehow managing to push the ball onto a post. All the boys defended really well but we unfortunately conceded again.

We really dominated the fourth quarter after conceding early, Ethan and Liam marshalling the midfield brilliantly and Alex doing so well at the back and pushing the team forwards, he capped off a terrific quarter with a superb finish into the bottom corner. We were unlucky to add the the scoreline with Ryan pushing hard for another.

All in all, a great run out and a really enjoyable game.
