Clodan Youth v Bury Rangers U7 Whites

Firstly well done to all the boys for being punctual, braving the weather conditions with a late kick off and quite a long way from home.

After a good warm-up we started well and got quickly into our stride.

A strong Run by Harry Thomas from midfield past 2 players found him with only the keeper to beat and he put the ball in the bottom corner to make the score 1 1 after conceding an early goal.

Mason Jones added to the score with a strong shot from an acute angle to put Bury into the lead.

The surface was tricky but Devon Oakley was solid in a sweeper role.

Despite the heavy conditions Olly Wright had no trouble with some driving runs from midfield.

Aiden Meehan was everywhere and did well to break up the neat passing from a strong Colodon attack.

Bury Suffered from a few sloppy goals conceded towards the end but Owen Pope got a goal his performance deserved.

I cant praise the boys enough for the effort from minute 1 til the end.
