Bury Whites v Cheshunt Youth Blues

Firstly, fair play to all the boys for turning up and braving the adverse weather conditions and having big smiles on their faces.

Bury battled well in the first quarter against a well organised Cheshunt team but fell behind.

The boys grew into the game and Luka Krzykala showed neat footwork and squeezed a shot in at the near post to give Bury their First goal.

Jaxon Casey tried his best to get on the scoresheet and in goal Nixon Osman Downes held firm.

Teddy Glynn and Teddy Thompson both worked well together at the back for the 2nd week while Harry Thomas pushed on to force Cheshunt backwards and take the pressure off the defence.

Dylan Wykes gave a solid performance and was rewarded with Bury’s second goal in the last Quarter.

However it just wasn’t enough to beat Cheshunt but Top marks to all the boys who gave everything they had
