Three of the best!

It was hard to choose a player of the month for April so we choose three.

Katie Marshall

We have been working with Katie to adapt her game and build upon her key strengths so she can influence the game more from an attacking sense in preperation for moving to 11 aside.

We have tried this throughout April more both in our league games and in some friendly matches and it is exciting to see the progression katie has now made in this area. We already new she had a great left and right foot but it is now she realises much more how to bring others into play and to utilise her range of passing on the game.

Well done Katie!

Faye Cargill

The race is sure hotting up for top scorer this season and Faye added 6 goals to her tally in April, however it is not just the goals the count as faye has really worked on when to take a shot, or a player on but now gets her head up much much more to bring others into play epsecially when we drop her back into midfield to really pull the strings of play in a game.

What will make Faye an even better player is to not get so frustrated with herself and to up her work rate but this will happen we have no doubt as she continues to reap the rewards when she does this. Well done!

Alysia Lawrence

A attacking players game is not always judge in the number of goals you can score but what else you bring to the field of play.

We saw in April exactly this from Alysia, her work rate from the front of the pitch either in defending from the front or pressing the play is infectious and rubs off on her team mates to do the same. This therefore creates additional chances for the team as a direct result of these actions.

Also the last league game Alysia capped off a good alround performance with one of if not the goal of the season as she picked up the ball thirty yards out and on the half volley picked out the too right hand corner of the net. Super striker from a very talented young lady. Well done!
