We started off slowly in this one and ultimatley learned a valuable lesson from today as the first team we played lost to all the others and made it looks an odd result in comparison.

If we win that game or another ultimatley we would go through to the next stage.

Our results were as follows -

Harvesters 4 vs 1 Bury Rangers
Bury Rangers 0 vs 1 Meninas Rio
Bury Rangers 0 vs 0 Afc Dunstable
Berkhamstead Raiders Orange 0 vs 3 Bury Rangers

However the progression we saw from the team game upon game was so positive, we grew in confidence and it is why its a shame we finish 3rd in our group and headed home.

All our goals in the tournament we scored by some fine finishing from Alysia Lawrence.

All the girls can be really pleased as their were contributions from every one.

Erin, Ava and Rhianna all having shots well saved at goal in various games and Maisy, Rhianna, Meg and Katie all doing a sterling job in defence. We saw some good one touch then pass progression from all as well and the girls really saw the difference in this way of playing.

Further praise goes to Rhianna, Maisy and Katie for stepping up to play in goal in the abscence of Madison. You did your team proud.
