Parents have been pulling me aside about these two players for a few weeks now and some times as coaches its hard as you dont want to be seen giving favouritism to your own daughters.

However in reality both are well deserved winners -

Ella Richardson: She has been struggling with injury of late but this has not stopped some stellar performances. Ella gives 110% everytime and whats most encouraging is her eye for a defense splitting pass.

Ella is also a very versitle player having played centre back, right back, left back, centre mid and winger and sometimes that versitility can be overlooked but it is a key aspect of modern football to do a good job in many diciplines and Ella sure does this. All thats left for Ella is to add some goals to all the good work. Keep it up Ella.

Maisy Standing: Many parents have told me how Maisy is one of our most improved players this season and her confidence really has grown epcecially since Christmas.

Maisy is one of our more talkative players and is not afraid to give instructions to team mates or volunteer suggestions in team talks.

Not much gets past Maisy in the tackle and she is very brave in this aspect showing great strength. What is key from this month and one of the reasons she shares this award is that Maisy is now thinking alot more about her positioning, where to play the ball out to when winning it and even heading ability. Playing either a right back or right side of midfield Maisy is making this position her own. Well done.
