A super season ending display

Draw vs Hoddesdon Owls

The hot weather returned and so did the oranges thanks to Jo (madisons mum).

One of the performances of the season in my book which saw measured and confident displays all across the pitch.

Madison - keeping a sturdyship at the back in goal. Producing a world class save to be proud of and deserving the clean sheet today. Decision making, bravery and confidence in abundance. Well done.

Katie - A team captains display at the back and what we liked about the performance today was the decision making and authority with it. Never looked like being beaten and great composure as well. Well done

Maisy - Suffering with a foot injury and only able to play in fits and starts but when on the pitch gave a committed and a strong armed display. Often winning the ball when there was no right to win it and putting the ball down the wing to start an attack. Well done

Georgie - Is growing with confidence every match especially the last couple of displays where being stronger in the tackle and not shying away from making that challenge. As a result stopped a couple of important crosses. Well done

Ella-Mae - captain for the day and stepped up the challenge and gave 110% on such a hot day. What i like about Ella is that she isnt afraid to try new things and positions. A superb couple of turns in midfield and unlucky with a shot on goal as well. Well done

Ella R - Has been hampered with injury the past few weeks but again another who is comitted and gives it her all. Some of the awareness she is showing with her positioning and through ball has really progressed lately. Well done

Alysia - Had a super effort at goal and was very unlucky not to score. She looked dangerous when every she got the ball. Mixing it up with sometimes taking the player on and sometimes finding a pass to a team mate which is adding different dimensions to her game. Well done

Amelie - A little live wire on the left always keen for the ball which is a massive show of character and to contribute by working back. A little more lucky and some of the crosses would of lead to goals. Well done

Ava - Again played both at right mid and right defence today and is adding diversity to her game in being able to play more than one position. Ava showed strong upper body strength in both positions to win the ball at a number of key moments in the game. Well done

Lilly-Grace - addmittly its been a tough season for Lilly with her injury but she showed today how she can be that true target player up front and gave a different dimension to our play being able to hold up and play others in. Going close herself at goal as well. Keep working hard.

Sophie - Showed a measure of confidence and a good work rate tracking her player back especially second half and was listenening well to our instructions and grew into the game. Keep believing in yourself.

Erin - Strong display on the right wing first half and then switching to a more central position second half. Erin has great upper body strength and show that today several times winning position and turning it into an attack. Well done.

Meg - PLAYER OF THE MATCH - today played in a number of position .... left defence, right defence and central midfield and looked so assured in all positions. Nothing got passed her and what i like and have seen since Christmas in Meg is the improved decision making and the willingess to win the first and second ball. Very well deserved especially when feeling a little unwell.
