Don't forget that all Bury Rangers players intending to play for the club next season MUST upload their photo to the WGS by 31 March

BACKGROUND

As part of a commitment by The FA and County FAs to improve the administration experience for grassroots football volunteers, online player registration on the Whole Game System (WGS) was mandatory for all Bury Rangers players in order to play in the current 2017/18 season. The first phase of this transition took place prior to this season, with the introduction of the FAN requirement and our players being registered on to the system by our club.

The final stage of the transition is to add a photo of every player on the WGS to enable next seasons registration cards to be produced. We therefore require you to upload a photo of the player, to add to the data Bury Rangers have already entered on the WGS.

If you would like more information on this, please click here to visit the Herts FA website.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW

Before the end of March 2018 all Bury Rangers players intending to play for the club in season 2018/19 are required to upload a passport style photo to the Whole Game System, using the FAN details created prior to the start of this season.

The process is straightforward and takes just a few minutes. The steps to follow are set out below;

1. Go to https://wholegame.thefa.com/Account/Login
2. Enter the player FAN and password
3. Click on My Account (in the left menu)
4. Click on edit details
5. Upload the photo (please note the photo tips below, taken from the WGS)
6. Click on save changes at the bottom of the screen.

PHOTO TIPS
Please upload a passport-style photograph of the player. The photograph must be:
• Of head and shoulders
• Forward facing
• Alone and not part of a group
• A current, reasonable likeness
• Unlike official passport photos you are allowed to smile!

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Our Registration Secretary (Pippa) will be working with each team to support the process.
It should be a very simple and quick process but if you run into any trouble please contact Pippa on 07775 520343 or email: Pippa@careersindesign.com
