Bury Rangers U16's Whites Win League Shield

Bury Rangers FC U16 Whites retained the MHRML League Shield in a thrilling match against Stevenage Borough Juniors Lions at Potters Bar Town.

Bury went 2-0 up in the first four minutes with goals from Jermain Straker and Justin Ighade - only for Stevenage to pull back to 2-2 at half-time.

A stunning free kick from Jacob Montague-Day won the match for the Whites: 3-2.

Christian Brissett was awarded the MHRML Man of the Match Award.

This completes the second leg of a potential treble for the Whites (the League is already in the bag) - the Divisional Cup Final awaits!
