Bury Rangers Under 11s took a party of 35 players and coaches to watch Watford vs Newcastle at Vicarage Road for the last game of Watford’s season at home.

For many in the group it was their first experience of attending a Premier League match and being caught up in the atmosphere and excitement of a live game.

On a blazing hot afternoon, watching in great seats, we joined the Watford fans in celebrating and matched the Newcastle fans for chants and song.

Watford held out for a home win, and the Bury boys showed their appreciation to the players before leaving the stadium for post-game bags of chips and heading back to Hertford.

A fantastic experience for all the Bury players and one we hope to repeat for next season.
