Eleven lucky Bury Rangers girls were mascots at the recent Spurs Ladies v Millwall Ladies Women’s Super League 2 fixture on Wednesday 2nd May. Che Wheatley, Spurs Ladies marketing manager who invited girls from the club said ‘the Bury girls were amazing!’

Wendy Martin scored the Spurs goal which was well cheered by the Bury Girls as Wendy was our club guest at our presentation event last season. Bury player Harrie Devine who plays for the u11’s, had her photo taken with Wendy at the presentation event and then got to walk onto the pitch with Wendy as a mascot. When we asked her what she liked most about being a mascot, she said she loved walking out with Wendy!

First team Spurs players Renee Hector and Sarah Wiltshire also featured in the match. Both players are currently coaching with Bury delivering out SSE Wildcats Centre on Saturday mornings.
