NEEDS YOU!!!!

As this year comes to an end, we would like to wish you a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us within Bury Rangers Girls & Women section of the club.

With the new year approaching, we would like to take this opportunity to encourage more people to come forward to support the running of the section. We are continuing to grow as a club and need more help to cover the tasks needed to sustain it and tasks to develop with that growth.

We have been working in partnership with The Football Foundation to submit a funding application to build an astro at Presdales School.

We hear in Spring if this was successful or not. If successful, we will need to bring in additional finance to support us using it. We are also looking to employ a coach or coaches to run our U6/U7 entry age group.

Again this will require fundraising to support this work.
We have a range of tasks and roles where we need people. Those tasks include fundraising, admin, safeguarding, kit organising & communication with community organisations.

Some tasks can be shared, e.g. a fundraising group of people and others are specific roles for an individual e.g. safeguarding (Child Welfare Officer).

We would like to support more women to become coaches within our club, so also consider if this is something you would like to do. If you haven't played football, this is no problem and shouldn't be a barrier to coach.

It would be great to get a minimum of one person from each age group to come forward. Please do consider what you can contribute.

Get in touch if you want to help but are unsure what you can do or know where you think you can help and would like more information.

Please get in touch with Jamie for further info via email on girlsfootball@buryrangers.com or speak to a committee member at training on a Monday.

Have a good Christmas break.

Best wishes
